About

My name is Matt Manzari and I have witnessed the many facets of God’s power in my 25 short years. I experienced a professional athletic career, felt a calling to full time ministry, attended college for Theology, married my high school sweetheart, was severely injured in a sports accident, pursued full time ministry, miraculously survived a freak electrocution accident, and recently entered into fatherhood. Through it all, I have seen God’s hand.

I fell in love with water sports at an early age. I started wakeskating and before I knew it, I was sponsored by Nike and traveling the world doing what I loved at the age of 15! It seemed my career was established, and I knew what I would do for the rest of my life! However, God had other plans and began to work on my heart. Out of nowhere, I started sensing He was calling me into ministry and found myself enrolling in school to study Theology.

Right before graduation I was in a terrible wakeskate accident. I cracked my skull in 16 places, had 13 screws and 3 plates put in face, my jaw was broken, I had rebar go through my leg, crushed my hand, and broke my tailbone. Doctors were amazed that I survived the head trauma and, over the next eight months, I had a slow but full recovery! God was so incredible! This prepared me for the storm that was coming…

On June 25, 2014 I was trimming trees at a local church and a power line arched over to the metal bucket I was standing in. 14,000 Volts shot through my body. The electricity caused 4th and 5th degree burns, which melted most of the skin off of my chest and arms, going deep enough to kill muscle and bone. Miraculously, a few days later I woke up from the coma. I spent months in the hospital, and saw miracles happen in the midst tragedy. Everybody struggles in this life, and I feel led to share a message of hope, perseverance, and faith that helped me survive suffering.
